A person, created to be in an intimate relationship with Jesus but in deep pain due to not being so, uses and even damages people while in pursuit of satisfying their own emptiness and pain.

Without a substantial faith relationship with Jesus, some seek to fill themselves with anything they can to give some level of satisfaction to or distraction from their longing for God.

The Lord helps a person to see their brokenness and to believe the good news of Jesus’s coming, showing them how they were made to relate to God and how He died to rescue them. They believe it and repent for their life apart from Him. In doing so they come home as they choose to give their lives to Jesus and to follow Him with their whole hearts.

More and more each day as a person comes home to Jesus and their heart is healed, their heart now begins to fill with compassion. How can they help others?

The Holy Spirit's communion with the person’s heart and leading of the person’s life leads them into the Lord’s heart and His relentless pursuit of the people He places around them. Each step out into learning to “live a life of love” forces the person deeper into life in the power of the Holy Spirit, allowing Jesus to use their life to lead others home to Him as well as to extend His Kingdom rule in their community.

Over repeated small successes and failures, a person learns to follow Jesus, led by the Holy Spirit into His way of helping other people grow and thrive.
